A New Chapter Begins: Unbridled Wild Connections Becomes a 501(c)(3)

We’re thrilled to share that Unbridled Wild Connections is now officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization!

This designation marks a huge milestone in our journey. It allows us to apply for grants, accept tax-deductible donations, and build the foundation for long-term sustainability. While we are still in the process of registering for South Carolina charitable solicitation, this step brings us closer to opening our doors to supporters near and far.

Unbridled Wild Connections was founded on the belief that healing happens through connection--with oneself as well as the relationships we build with others. What began as work alongside wild mustangs has grown into a mission to help women and girls—and, in time, others who have faced adversity—rebuild trust, regulate survival responses, and reconnect through liberty-based equine-assisted learning. With roots in equine programs supporting those who have experienced trauma, neurodiverse individuals, and survivors of human trafficking, we are committed to creating a safe and healing space where both horses and humans can grow together.

At the same time, we’re expanding our Board of Directors and looking for passionate leaders to help guide our growth. One of our most urgent needs is a Treasurer—someone with financial experience who shares our belief in the power of horses to help heal hearts.

At its core, this milestone is about creating a place where trust can be rebuilt, confidence renewed, and connection restored.
