Equine Assited Programs
Liberty-based equine-assisted learning with once-wild and rescued horses
At Unbridled Wild Connections, women and girls learn alongside horses through ground-based experiences rooted in presence, trust, and mutual choice.
Our horses are partners—not tools. Nothing is forced or rushed. Each experience creates space to strengthen awareness, confidence, boundaries, communication, and connection while honoring the voice and choice of both horse and human.
Unbridled Connections
Our core multi-session experience for women and girls—especially those rebuilding confidence, trust, or connection after adversity.
Through guided observation, reflective activities, and voluntary interaction with horses at liberty, participants practice awareness, emotional regulation, boundaries, communication, and self-trust.
Cohorts are shaped around participants’ ages, needs, and shared experiences.
Community Workshops
Experience what connection can feel like when nothing is forced.
These ground-based experiences invite participants to slow down, learn how horses communicate, and explore presence, trust, boundaries, and choice.
Guided observation, reflective exercises, and voluntary interaction with the herd provide an accessible introduction to the Unbridled Wild approach. No horse experience is required.
Partner - Designed
We collaborate with nonprofits, schools, survivor-support organizations, and other community groups serving women and girls.
Together, we consider participant needs, age, program length, group size, learning goals, accessibility, emotional safety, and appropriate support.
Every partnership remains grounded in liberty, consent, trust, relationship, and respect for the welfare and choice of our horses.
Participation Request
This short form helps us understand the interests of prospective participants, parents and guardians, and community organizations.
Please do not include medical information, diagnoses, or detailed personal histories at this stage.
Before You Visit
All UWC programs, clinics, and ranch visits are scheduled in advance. Lucky Oak Ridge Ranch is private property and cannot accommodate drop-in visits. Confirmed participants and guests will receive preparation, location, and safety information before attending.
Unbridled Wild Connections provides ground-based equine-assisted learning. Our programs do not include riding and are not psychotherapy, counseling, medical treatment, or crisis services.
